* Ikan Kelah at The Cafe@Lui *

The Cafe@Lui is also home to kelah or the Malaysian Mahseer, a breed of fish found mostly in the rapids of Sumatera and Thailand. Kelah is currently at risk of extinction, caused by polluted rivers and perhaps due to its popularity amongst anglers as a game fish.
Near Sungai Lui, we do our bit for the environment by carrying out R&D on ways to conserve this dying species of fresh water fish. At our cafe, you are able to see these magnificent beauties up close and learn more about their characteristics.
