Authentic Laksa Johor
~ available at the cafe@lui
A cuisine that originates from Johor. It differs from Laksa Penang by having coconut milk added to the gravy. It also differs from other laksas by using spaghetti instead of rice-based noodles. The secret condiment to this cuisine is the hand pounded 'sambal belacan'. It adds kick & umph to the gravy. But those of you who cannot take Hot stuff, better don't put too much of it.
Pure Johoreans will eat this dish using their bare hands. Try it.
